Research Scientist

Qualified Ph.D. candidates and post-doctoral research associates are invited to apply for the position of Research Scientist at Clear Science Corp. in Harford, NY. Requirements include a Ph.D. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, Physics, or Applied Mathematics with expertise in the area of Computational Fluid Dynamics as reflected in the candidate’s published work. The successful applicant will have a firm background in Applied Mathematics with demonstrated skills in developing computational algorithms and models for prediction and control, design optimization, and uncertainty analysis. Clear Science Corp. engages in leading-edge research in the area of fluid mechanics and seeks applicants who are self-motivated and capable of working independently on challenging problems in the field. Requisite skills include programming in C/C++, Fortran, Python, and Matlab on both LINUX/UNIX and Windows operating systems. Clear Science Corp. is located in the Fingerlakes region of Upstate New York near Cornell University. Salary will be competitive based on qualifications and experience.
