Two faculty in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences were presented with awards at the 2014 Northeastern Weed Science Society (NEWSS) annual meeting in Philadelphia, PA. CSS Associate Professor Toni DiTommaso, the award chair, was the award presenter.
Russ Hahn (below left) received the NEWSS ‘Award of Merit’. The Award of merit recognizes career contributions to the NEWSS and weed management in the Northeast.
Chuck Mohler (below right) received the NEWSS ‘Outstanding Researcher Award’ (photo included). The Outstanding Researcher Award recognizes NEWSS members for their outstanding research contributions, in the public or private sector, that have had (or have potential to have) a significant impact on weed management practices in the Northeast.
