What am I learning?

We are all learning virtually; our children, ourselves, our co-workers. Sometimes we may get so confused and consumed by all that is going on, how do we and what do we learn? Asking yourself and your children as they participate in new ways of learning these questions may clarify and simplify your learning.

How are you and your children experiencing learning currently?

Youth Development training has stayed in my memory and used daily in learning and teaching that is provided to me and given by me. Taking the time to ask and answer these questions when you or your children are participating in an “assignment”, training, etc. will help you weed out what is important to you and what you can do with the information. Of course, each question may not be able to be answered but this will give you a place to start in what the learning was about. Included is also information regarding 4-H Positive Youth Development.         feet backpack brain hearts

The “brain” is to ask yourself what to think about or process

The “backpack” is to ask yourself what will take home that you’ll use

The “heart” is something that you took to heart and will day to day be used
