The New York Seed Improvement Project has released the 2021 Certified Seed Crop Directory (link to download PDF). Certified seed is seed that has been produced and labeled in accordance with the procedures and in compliance with the rules and regulations of an officially recognized seed-certifying agency.
The Commissioner of the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets has designated the New York State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences to be the Official Seed Certifying Agency. Seed Certification responsibilities are carried out by the New York Seed Improvement Project, a unit within Plant Breeding and Genetics at Cornell University.
