Weather Outlook – May 20, 2021

LastGrowing Degree Days base 48 week temperatures were within 4 degrees of normal. Precipitation has ranged from a hundredth of an inch to half an inch. Base 50 growing degree-days ranged from 10 to 70.

Today will be warm and sunny with temperatures in the 80s with isolated showers & thunderstorms possible.  Overnight lows will be in the 50s to near 60.

Friday temperatures will be in the 80s with isolated showers & thunderstorms possible. Overnight temperatures will be in the upper 50s to mid 60s.

Saturday be sunny and slightly humid with temperatures in the mid 70s to mid 80s. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Overnight temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s.

Sunday highs will range from mid 70s to upper 80s; a front will pass bringing a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid 40s to low 50s.

Monday temperatures will be cooler, in the mid 60s to 70s. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid 40s to mid 50s.

Tuesday highs will be in the 70s to low 80s with some showers possible. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid 50s to low 60s.

Wednesday highs will be in the mid 70s to 80s and humid with chances for afternoon thunderstorms. Overnight temperatures will be in the 60s.

The seven-day precipitation amounts will range from a tenth to half an inch.

The 8-14 day outlook (May 27-June2) favors above-normal temperatures and favors near- to slightly above-normal precipitation.
