Compared to last week’s sale slaughter cows stayed steady to firm. Holstein bull calves traded 30.00 to 50.00 higher. Beef bull calves traded 20.00 to 40.00 higher. Supply included: 5% Feeder Cattle (20% Steers, 10% Dairy Steers, 20% Heifers, 30% Bulls, 10% Dairy Heifers, 10% Dairy/Beef Heifers); 43% Slaughter Cattle (7% Cows, 4% Bulls, 5% Dairy Heifers, 84% Dairy Cows); 52% Feeder Dairy Calves (83% Bulls, 17% Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 30%.
