Compared to last month’s feeder special, Feeder Steers sold steady. Feeder Holstein Steers sold strong on a light test. Medium and Large Number 1-2 Feeder Heifers sold steady; Medium and Large Number 2 Heifers sold steady to 10.00 higher. Feeder Bulls sold steady to 5.00 lower. Number 1 Heifers and Bulls not tested. Demand was moderate. Today’s feeder cattle supply consisted of 25 percent steers, 36 percent Holstein steers, 19 percent heifers, 19 percent bulls, with 53 percent weighing over 600 lbs. All prices per cwt.
