While proper artificial insemination technique is important in any farm’s reproductive program, understanding the cow’s anatomy and physiology is also essential. In this two-day class, participants will learn the biology of bovine reproduction, giving them a better understanding of the whole reproductive system. Hands-on practice with cows will teach them proper insemination technique. The training will consist of both classroom sessions and hands-on practice. Genex along with Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Northwest New York Dairy, Livestock and Field Crops Team will offer this training.
