Join us for a drive yourself tour to the Cargill Processing Plant. We can carpool together for the ride. Make your own hotel reservations using the info below.

• Leave Canton at 12:30 pm.
• Pick up more people at the Watertown Extension office and others along the way as needed.
• Visit Birdsall Beef Farm in Homer, NY. Heather and Dennis Birdsall graze Herford/Angus cows and sell freezer beef.
• Stop for dinner.
• Check into Hotel near Binghamton, Holiday Inn Express, WiFi and Breakfast included.
• Leave hotel at 8:00 am.
• Arrive Cargill for tour at 9:00 am.
• Tour ends about 11:30 and we head home stopping for lunch along the way.

Hotel—Holiday Inn Express, Vestal, 607-348-0088. Mention room block COE to get the group rates. We have some King bed rooms and some two queen bed rooms. Price is $95.00 ($107.25 with taxes).

There is a $5.00 charge per person by Cargill for the tour. We will pay by check and you can pay us. There are also waivers to fill out before we go and you need to bring a picture ID and dress appropriately.
