Wednesday, February 3rd, 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Room 120 of the Human Services Complex; 323 Owego St; Montour Falls.  Join the Tri-County Graziers for expert presentations on the most important aspect of profitable beef cattle production: reproduction!  CCE regional livestock specialist Heather Birdsall will cover topics such as:  important criteria for choosing your next herdsire; the selection and development of replacement heifers; common agreements for sharing bulls; linebreeding vs. outcrossing; and natural service vs. artificial insemination (A.I.).  Industry experts Bruce Payne and Calvin Crosby from ABS Global will share their insights on the benefits of A.I. and how to use it successfully in your herd.
