Congrats Toni!

This week Toni was recognized in a Cornell Chronicle new story as one of four university recipients of the 2011 Kendall S. Carpenter Memorial Advising Award. The award is designed to highlight the importance of undergraduate advising at Cornell. He will be recognized later this month at a trustee-faculty dinner. As stated in the article:

[Toni’s] received the Burgett Distinguished Advisor Award from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS); the Outstanding Teacher Award from the Weed Science Society of America; and the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. He also has been named in three different years by a CALS student as “the most influential person in her/her undergraduate career.”

From the major and his more than 40 advisees, we say CONGRATULATIONS!
