Diverse agricultural employment opportunities growing

Today’s student pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural sciences could be the envy of their peers. Job growth and demand across a wide range of employment opportunities is healthy and growing. According to a recent USA Today article, more than 50,000 new jobs will be created annually between 2010 and 2015 in agriculture, food and renewable natural resource areas. For the growing population of Cornell’s Agricultural Sciences major alumni, internship and post-graduate opportunities abound. More than 95 percent of the 83 graduates since the first in 2008 are employed in the agricultural industry or pursuing related graduates studies.
