Based on a template developed by the University of Tennessee, I built a spreadsheet for estimating corn silage/baleage needs. As with the hay estimate calculator, this does not address feed quality. It is only a rough estimate of the quantity of feed required. Contact your local Cooperative Extension Educator or feed dealer to acquire a forage analysis with which you can balance a ration for your herd.
