Who we are

 

Peter Woodbury is a Senior Research Associate in the section of Soil and Crop Sciences at Cornell University. He works with multi-disciplinary teams to develop models to quantify the sustainability of agricultural and forest ecosystems, including effects of land management practices. He extends this research to agricultural and forest ecosystems educators with management techniques that can  improve air, soil and water quality, and mitigate climate change.

Jenifer Wightman is a Research Specialist in the section of Soil and Crop Sciences at Cornell University. She works on evaluating greenhouse gas emissions from the life cycle of agricultural and forestry projects. Her goal is to identify pragmatic and meaningful strategies to reduce greenhouse gases while also maximizing co-benefits of other environment, social, and economic areas.
