We are an interdisciplinary research lab focusing on equitable crop improvement theory and practice. Our goal is to center gender equality and social inclusion in crop improvement research projects, programs and institutions.
Our group brings together researchers with experience in plant breeding, agricultural economics, GIS, anthropology, gender studies and science and technology studies. Our research methods span biophysical and social sciences, quantitative and qualitative designs, and even machine learning.
We bring all of this together through feminist research praxis, interdisciplinary methodologies, collaborative research outputs and reflexive thought pieces.
