Welcome to the NY Tree Fruit Pest Monitoring Network. Here you will find seasonal updates of tree fruit pest activity in NY State.

To see the latest post, visit the Recent Posts page.

Below you will find a dynamic map that can be used to see pest activity throughout the state. You can use the dropdown options to the left of the map to filter data.

In 2024, we are monitoring for the following insects:

  • Oriental Fruit Moth (OFM),
  • Codling Moth (CM),
  • Dogwood Borer (DWB),
  • Obliquebanded Leafroller (OBLR), and
  • Apple Maggot (AM)

Locations are approximate. GPS coordinates have been truncated to display only the township and not the precise location of the trap.
