Hello, everyone! I’m Stanley Chen, an incoming sophomore from Long Island, NY. This summer, I’ll be researching the various effects that climate change has on the emotional health of children, under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Tiffany. The University of Bath recently published a study that explored the primary consequence of this phenomenon, known as climate anxiety. For the next few weeks, I plan on digging deeper into this particular study, reviewing its references and citations, as well as branching off into different aspects of climate anxiety. This includes the physical and emotional severity of climate anxiety, how children are coping, and how they are influencing parents, educators, and politics. I look forward to updating you all on my thoughts and discoveries throughout my internship!
