Furniture Set Up
What may be moved: 1) Conference Center tables and chairs 2) the round and square white tables and grey and red chairs on the Commons area
What may not be moved: Upholstered furniture in the Gallery area (couches, chairs, benches, coffee tables).
With the exception of the Conference Center, no existing furniture may be moved without prior approval from the Stocking Hall Administrative Coordinator, and any furniture moves made without permission will incur an additional charge.
Furniture placement for events is the responsibility of the event coordinator. The flexible furniture pieces (tables and chairs) in the Conference Center (146) allows for the event coordinator (and their staff) to move tables and chairs around to their desired configuration (30- 5 ‘ by 24” rolling task tables and 195 upholstered padded arm conference chairs)
If you do not wish move furniture yourself you have the following choices. 1) submit a diagram for your desired set up or 2) submit a diagram of what furniture you want removed for rental furniture placement; and we will make those arrangements at your expense.
Any user-provided rental furniture or other items must be removed, surfaces cleared, and the original furniture arrangement and connections restored by the user by the end of the reservation period so the space(s) will be immediately available for the next user(s).
