Bike Week
Held annually in late May/early June, this event encourages employees to ride their bike (or walk) to work. Daily breakfast & prize give-a-ways!
Golf Tournament
Held annually at Big Oak Golf Course, the tournament is a 9- hole scramble with a shotgun start. This event is open Cornell AgriTech employees, their families and friends.
Annual Banquet
Held annually (usually in November), the banquet is a formal dinner with live entertainment. The Cornell AgriTech Employee of the Year is announced and celebrated at this event.
Employee of the Year
STAR will put out a call for nominations for employee of the year. Nominations should be submitted using established criteria and are reviewed by a panel of Cornell AgriTech employees. The awardee is announced at the annual banquet.
Children’s Holiday Party
Held annually in December, this event is for Cornell AgriTech employees’ children/grandchildren up to 11 years of age. Crafts, snacks, and a visit from Santa make this a wonderful event.
Red Cross Blood Drives
Hosted by STAR and the American Red Cross, drives are held at Cornell AgriTech 3-4 times a year and are open to the public.
Ice Cream Social
Held annually in July at the Jordan Hall Pavilion, this event is for all Cornell AgriTech employees to enjoy Cornell Dairy ice cream, fresh Cornell AgriTech fruit, and sweet toppings!
Discounts to Area Attractions
Discount tickets are available to Roseland Water Park, Seebreeze Amusement Park, and the New York State Fair.
