The Lecture Series

The Sloan Program in Health Administration at Cornell University is the only MHA program to host a lectureship focused on urban healthcare leadership and celebrating Black leaders. Now in its eighth year, it is our privilege to count Ms. Williams-Brinkley among our distinguished speakers.

Percy Allen II ’75

The lecture series is named in honor of Percy Allen II, a 1975 graduate of the Sloan Program in Health Administration. The series was established by Mr. Allen’s Sloan classmates to honor his contributions to urban hospitals and health organizations and to provide students with the opportunity to consider issues of access, excellence, community, and the quality of care in urban settings. A former National President of the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE), Mr. Allen was inducted into the NAHSE Hall of Fame in 2006, received the American College of Healthcare Executives President’s Award in 2006 and, in 2011, was inducted into the Modern Healthcare Hall of Fame.
