Please join me in welcoming Roxana Usturoi to the SIPS admin staff. Roxana will be starting on Thursday, September 1^st in the position of SIPS Appointments Coordinator. In this role she will provide coordination of non-academic and visitor appointments, tasks that were previously managed by Leslie Larsen and Cindy Twardokus. Leslie and Cindy will be mentoring Roxana as she learns the ropes of this new role and will continue to be available to provide guidance and support for non-routine situations involving visitors (Cindy) and both academic and non-academic staffing (Leslie). Cindy will also be focusing more on improving consistency and efficiency for appointment processes in SIPS more generally.

Roxana is recently arrived in the Ithaca area and comes to us with many years of experience doing administrative human resources work in Chile and Spain. Her office will be in 233B EmersonHall.
