Leadership changes for the Integrative Plant Science MPS program

The Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Integrative Plant Science is a rapidly growing program, meeting the needs of students seeking a year of training. Among the many focus areas available to them are controlled environment agriculture, geospatial applications, soil health, cannabis science and industry, and public garden leadership. A hallmark of the MPS program is the balanced portfolio of technical knowledge, analytical skills and professional development designed to prepare students for careers in industry, government, and non-profit agencies.

Thanks to the hard work of many SIPS faculty and staff – outgoing Director of Graduate Studies Marvin Pritts, in particular – the IPS MPS program is growing and thriving. As of January 1 the program has a new leadership team, headed by Dan Buckley, professor in the SIPS Soil & Crop Sciences Section.
