It’s the time of year for the annual faculty & senior academic reporting. There is a significant, positive change for this year: the college is NOT using Activity Insight(!) Instead, please send your current CV to the chair’s assistant of your section by the end of February. Your CV should be a Word document with 2019 activities highlighted in yellow.

Full Message from CALS Senior Associate Deans:
Dear Chairs, Associate Chairs, Section Chairs and Program/School Directors and Assistants,
We write to share the 2019 call for faculty reporting of scholarly activity and accomplishment data. To simplify the process this year, reporting will occur via CV collection through a Box folder, rather than data entry via Activity Insight. CALS professorial faculty, including professors of practice and research professors, as well as senior academics, are required to report. Please see below for reporting instructions for the 2019 calendar year.
- Faculty members required to report should send to their chair’s/director’s assistant a WORD version of their current CV, with all 2019 activity highlighted.
- Unit heads and their assistants (or delegates upon request) will have access to the unit’s Box file, which will be distributed by CALS Marketing and Communications next week. Staff in the Executive and Senior Associate Deans Offices will have access to all files.
- Chair’s/director’s assistants should ensure that the appropriate information is highlighted on each CV and upload the CVs to a Box file that will be assigned to their unit/s.
- To accommodate reporting needs, all CVs must be uploaded by Friday, February 28, 2020.
Please note, the SUNY NCIA reporting process regarding extension/outreach contact hours, as well as data collection for the purposes of updating faculty web profiles, will be handled separately. Please look for communications about those efforts at a later date.
Please expect an email next week to confer access to your unit’s Box file.
Any questions about the reporting process can be directed to the CALS Senior Associate Deans Office (Allison K. Pelletier akp28@cornell.edu or Anne Marie Sheridan ams53@cornell.edu).
Thank you,
Beth Ahner and Amy McCune
