Earlier this summer the State University Construction Fund (SUCF) posted a Request for Qualifications for architecture firms to submit their credentials for the renovation of the Plant Science Building. Twenty-nine firms submitted proposals. From these, a short list was selected by representatives from CALS Facilities, University Facilities, and SUCF, in addition to SIPS representatives Chris Smart, Magdalen Lindeberg, and Andy Vail. Five firms were selected for interviews and toured Plant Science this past Friday. The firms will be interviewed by SUCF and Cornell representatives in Albany on Friday, July 26. Andy Vail and Magdalen Lindeberg will participate in the interview process.
