Financial Responsibilities and Some Tips

  • Flights to and from Siem Reap
  • Transfers to and from your flight
  • Meals before dinner on Monday February 28, dinners on Tuesday, March 1  and Thursday, March 3 and meals after breakfast on Friday, March 4
  • Visa on arrival (Free for Singapore and Thai citizens.  US$20 for everyone else)
  • Departure fee (US$25)
  • Tips for the tour guides/drivers (more detail on this later)
  • Incidentals
  • Do NOT change money into rials at the airport.  It seems that US currency is preferred, so make sure you bring plenty of small bills with you (plus enough for the visa on arrival and departure fee),  Also, Andy Booth of AboutAsiaTravel.com has informed me that there is zero tolerance for torn or damaged US$ bills in Cambodia – vendors will not accept them.
