Not sure which day to set out your recycling bins? Below is a map and schedule to help you figure it out! Simply click on the map and then zoom in to where your home is located.
When you click on the area around your home, a window will pop up and tell you if you are Week A or B and what day of the week your recycling is picked up. You can also click on the MAP link and then enter your address into the box and it will take you to your address. Click again on the road (the highlighted color) and the pop up window will provide the week and day information.
If you prefer it written out, look at the “2024 Route Schedule”. The “2024 Recycling Calendar” will tell you when the A and B weeks occur.
Reminders about pick-up
- Recycling pick-up runs from 6:30am – 5pm on your scheduled day. Pick-ups throughout the day are based upon route efficiencies. To ensure pick-ups, please have your containers out the night prior to pick up.
- No pick-up on the following days: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. If your normal collection day falls on or after one of the observed Holidays then your collection for that week will be delayed one service day. All collections are completed by the end of business on Saturday.

A per stop maximum of (4) four recycling bins OR (1) one 65 gallon toter is permitted. Blue bins are available in the Real Property Tax Office at the County Office Building, 1 DiPronio Drive, Waterloo, NY 13165
