Welcome Amanda Massa, Director of U.S. Regional Alumni Engagement Operations

Amanda is excited to take on her new role as the Director of U.S. Regional Alumni Engagement Operations, where she will oversee, support, and expand upon the fantastic work already being done by the Regional team.

Amanda’s journey in AAD began 12 years ago when she joined as an administrative assistant for the Cornell Entrepreneur Network and Homecoming and Special Interest Programs. In 2014, she became an integral part of the Student and Young Alumni Programs (SYAP) team. During her nine years with SYAP, Amanda has held various roles providing support to students and alumni within the first two decades post-graduation. Her contributions included implementing a training program for young alumni class officers, expanding existing staff-driven initiatives like the Welcome to Your City events while also introducing new events like Cornell Day at Yankee Stadium, and creating and launching innovative online programming like the Leadership Lunch and Learn webinar series and the Fresh from the Hill podcast.

Beyond her professional life, Amanda is a musician but recently took a break from music to focus on her role as a mother to her almost 2-year-old son, George. In her free time, she enjoys fun outings and adventures with her husband, Bob, and George, playing and listening to music, spending quality time with family, hiking, reading, listening to podcasts, running, and indulging in her diverse taste in TV, which includes baseball and reality TV.
