This summer, all of the public computers in Carpenter Hall–both in the first floor reading room and in the four ACCEL computer labs (Blue, Red, Orange and Green)–have been replaced.

The new computers are Dell Optiplex 7440 all-in-ones with touchscreens and specifications as follows:

Intel core i7-6700 3.4Ghz processor
16 GB RAM
512 Gb SSD

The new computers run Windows 7 and have Office 2016, Autodesk, AutoDesk and AutoCad 2017, AutoDesk Inventor 2016, Adobe Creative Cloud 2016, and much other software besides.

The computers are up and running as of the time of this writing; come try them out for yourselves.
