Library Online System to be Upgraded May 17 – 21

The library’s online system, Voyager, is scheduled to be upgraded starting at midnight on May 17, 2008.  The upgrade process is expected to last through May 20, with full functionality restored by May 21.  During most of this period, the catalog will be in read-only mode: you will still be able to search for books and journals and link to databases, but you will not be able to place requests or renew books.  You will be able to check out books via a manual system; the information will be transferred to the online system when it becomes available. Service desks will not be discharging books or processing requests, but all normal service operations will resume upon the completion of the upgrade.  If you have questions, please contact the public services staff or the library director.
