MyContents: Journal’s Table of Contents Emailed Directly to You

mycontents.jpg

Are you looking for an efficient way to keep up with new journal articles?  Did you know that the library will send you emails containing the table of contents to many of your favorite journals?

Cornell University Library’s “MyContents” service provides the table of contents for over 1000 journals.  For example, Nature, Science, Physical Review Letters, Optical Engineering, Veterinary Journal, and many more titles are available to you, as a Cornell Library user, free of charge.

To sign up for this service, go to the MyContents site at  http://mycontents.library.cornell.edu/   On your first visit, you will be asked to enter your preferred email address and delivery format (HTML, RefWorks, EndNote, etc.).  You may then search through the over 1000 titles and subscribe to journals of interest.  There is no limit on the number of titles you may subscribe to, and you may add or delete titles at any time.

If you choose to receive the contents in HTML, you will also be able to use the convenient Get It! link for each article.  By following the Get It! link you will be directed to the article’s full text, if available electronically.  If it is only available in print, you will be directed to the location and call number of the print journal.

We continue to add new journal titles, so check back periodically to see what new journals are available from the library.
