Dr. Fenghua Hu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics and in the Weill Institute for Cell and Molecular Biology. Dr. Hu completed her PhD in Biochemistry from Baylor College of Medicine in 2002 and then received postdoctoral training at Yale University. She came to Cornell in 2008 and her lab is interested in studying the molecular and cellular mechanisms of neurodegeneration, especially the link between lysosome dysfunction and neurodegenerative diseases. She teaches “Functional Organization of Eukaryotic Cells” in the spring. Dr. Hu is looking forward to attending PACE activities and more interactions with other PACE participants.
