This week we planned a dedication ceremony for the South Lawn Project which will happen two weeks from this Wednesday. In preparation for this event, we have been working hard at fixing up the beds and giving the plants a little extra care. By the end of the week, all the of the beds have been weeded and filled in with mulch, old crops have been taken out and the beds have been replanted. We have continued to harvest some beautiful squash, along with tomatoes and green beans. As always, we have been working away at curing and cleaning up garlic. I am starting to prepare things for my departure in two weeks. There will be someone hired to take my position and I really want to ensure that the transition is smooth.
