CCE staff across the North Country organized and presented a 2-part webinar series on July 30 and August 4 to help dairy and livestock producers strategize forage management in response to our 2020 drought. Many grazers, hay producers and dairies have struggled with low 1st and 2nd cuttings, poor pasture and corn growth and few supplemental options this season. An additional concern is how highly stressed pastures and hay fields this season can set up continued problems in 2021 and beyond. We pulled together 6 short presentations to help farms manage their way through this dilemma.
