The Moore Lab, led by Dr. Virginia (Ginny) Moore, researches plant breeding for sustainable cropping systems. The lab takes multiple approaches, including breeding for organic systems, intercropping and polyculture systems, pest resistance, and ecosystem services. Research includes work with a range of species, including cover crops, perennial forages, bioenergy crops, hemp, and dry beans.
