After graduating from Cornell in 2009, worked in a variety of capacities in the retail home improvement sector. Joined the team at Keuka Lake Winery in 2018 working part time in the lab and cellar followed by a full-time harvest in the fall. The Nelson J. Shaulis Scholarship in 2019 catalyzed a career pivot from winemaker to research. Jen is a currently a masters candidate in the Cornell Enology Extension Lab.

Current Research Focus: Investigating the possibilities for more sustainable practices, products and production through the lense of New York Oak, barrel production and current wine aging practices in the industry.
