A reminder for all Engineering students, the procedure for you to drop with a W or change a grade option this semester is as follows:
- Until Friday, March 13th – Drop courses or change grade options electronically as usual through your Student Center account.
- Monday, March 16th – Wednesday, March 18th (4:00 p.m.) – Go to the Registrar’s Office (158 Olin Hall) to fill out an add/drop form. One of the Registrar staff members will then immediately make the appropriate changes to your course schedule.
- No grade option changes will be permitted after Wednesday, March 18th (4:00 p.m.).
***Requests for Extensions to drop*** (will be considered on an individual basis) We are aware that there are prelims during the week of March 16th which may influence your decision to drop a course. Please check your prelim schedule now http://registrar.sas.cornell.edu/Sched/PRELS.html
If you feel you need additional time to make a decision to drop a class, you must stop by or call Engineering Advising (emails will not be accepted) as soon as possible and NO LATER THAN 4:00p.m. on Wednesday, March 18th to request an extension. If granted, the extension deadline to drop without a W will be 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25th. *Note: an add/drop form and petition will be required for those to whom an extension is granted.
