I didn’t take Dynamics last spring since I didn’t think I wanted to major in MechE, then the following semester I decided to take spaceflight mechanics (MAE 4060) without the pre-req and see how it went since I have a solid background in vector calc and coordinate transformations. Ended up passing with a B and from what I’ve heard it is more advanced than Dynamics so I’m wondering if I still need to take that class or if I can petition out of it?
