This is a reminder that NEXT FRIDAY, October 18th (4:00 PM), is the Last Day to DROP a COURSE without a “W” appearing on a student’s transcript and without having to petition. Until this time, students may drop a course electronically using Student Center, and the course will be removed from their record with no evidence of them having been enrolled. After October 18th (but before the final withdrawal deadline of November 22nd), it will be necessary for students to complete an add/drop form and petition and submit them to the Engineering Registrar’s office (In this case, a “W” will appear on the student’s record.)
October 18th is also the ABSOLUTE Last Day to CHANGE a course GRADE OPTION (petitions to change a grade option will not be accepted after October 18th).
