My name is Garrett Godshall, and I’m currently a graduate student at Virginia Tech in the Macromolecular Science and Engineering program (MACR).
I’m reaching out because the MACR program is interested in recruiting passionate and dedicated students from Cornell to our program. The MACR program is an interdisciplinary graduate program focused on polymer science and engineering with both Masters and Doctorate tracks available. We offer a small-department feel with about 40 current students, a diverse array of science, engineering, and professional development courses, a customizable plan of study to suit your interests, research groups from 13 departments and 70+ faculty members, state-of-the-art research facilities, competitive stipends, tuition reimbursement, and funding covered by the program for the student’s first year. Plus, the program is located on the Virginia Tech campus in beautiful Blacksburg, VA.
Students can find more information about the program on our website: https://mii.vt.edu/students/MACR.html.
Additionally, you can email MACR students directly [MACRStudentCouncil@gmail.com] or the graduate program director, Kim Felix [mii@vt.edu] with any further questions about the program!
The 2023-2024 application deadline is January 15th, 2023.
