The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University answers the need for professional skills and talents with graduate programs that provide depth in fundamental mechanical engineering areas and breadth in emerging cross-boundary areas. Our program balances academic activity with hands-on projects and research opportunities to give our graduates the ability to frame complex problems and collaborate widely across organizations.
