Why: Procter & Gamble recognizes the importance of setting and pursuing professional development goals as a college undergraduate at Cornell. The achievement of clear, demanding goals that force one to grow is a key ingredient for success, not only in college, but throughout the professional career. We applaud and support evidence of this discipline in all phases of college life, both academic and extracurricular. As such, we are sponsoring a program to reward a Cornell engineer who best exemplifies characteristics leading to technical achievement. We will award a $500 scholarship to the candidate who best demonstrates leadership, desires for professional development, strong communication skills, and records of technical excellence.
