Hi everyone! My name is Jessica (Dyson ‘20) and I’m one of the co-founders of PediCure. We’re an eLab, NYS, and NSF-backed hardware startup building an electric toenail filer for folks who can’t reach their feet (specifically elderly adults).

Are you interested in designing for independence? Do you want to collaborate with our team of ‘18 and ‘20 co-founders who have gone on to work for Lockheed Martin, Tesla, and Google?

If yes, you’re in luck – We’re hiring a design intern for Fall 2020!

Expectations:

• 5 hr/week + all virtual

• Complete CAD work using Fusion360 or Autodesk Inventor.

• Collaborate with CTO (MechE ‘19, MEng ‘20)

• Ideation

• Sketching

Experience Preferred:

• Familiarity with Mechanical Engineering + design

• Knowledge of material properties

• Ability to think abstractly in order to take sketches and designs and turn them into 3D models

• Knowledge of additive and subtractive manufacturing methods

• Able to design CAD parts that are able to be manufactured
