Many students in the field of engineering often ask what roles and responsibility do engineers have in a corporation. This talk will provide an overview of engineer’s responsibility and examine its relationship to enterprise functions. Keith will illustrate how engineers are “mercenary scientists” and how Corning Incorporated has maintained its leadership for more than 160 years by turning engineering talents into assets.
