Symptoms have occasionally been seen on peppers. Affected plants usually have been determined to have been started in a greenhouse with ornamental plants infected by TSWV which were most likely the source of the virus. See Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) for information about this disease.
Following images taken in a home garden are two plants likely infected when transplanted that subsequently grew little in contrast to adjacent healthy plants.
