    The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Ithaca College has an opening for
    teaching Solar System Astronomy in the Fall 2015 semester. This is a general
    astronomy course that is a complement to our Stars, Galaxies and the
    Universe course, both of which expect student to have some algebra skills.
    The catalog description is as follows:
    Survey of the solar system from the earliest conceptions of motions in the
    sky to modern findings of space exploration in the solar system. Emphasis is
    placed on physical processes and dynamics of the moon, earth, planets,
    comets, meteoric matter, and asteroids. Astronomical instruments and
    measurements.

    We are looking for an instructor with experience or who is interested in
    gaining experience in teaching at the undergraduate level. One of our
    faculty members is available to help guide the instructor with the
    Integrated Core Curriculum requirements of the course.
