- Tioga County August 28, 2012. Larvae reported in high tunnel fall raspberry fruit by Cathy Heidenreich, Cornell University.
- Schuyler County August 29, 2012. Larvae found in raspberry and blueberry fruit. Four traps set in and around this planting caught 233 adult SWD in three days (98 males and 138 females). Reported by Juliet Carroll, NYS IPM Program, Cornell University.
