Whittaker Research Lab

The Whittaker Lab studies the structure and function of the envelope glycoproteins of influenza viruses, Ebola virus, arenaviruses, and coronaviruses – in particular how genomic mutations lead to changes in the envelope proteins and affect viral pathogenesis.

Daniel Research Lab

The Daniel Lab is an interdisciplinary collection of engineers and biophysicists with an expertise in chemistry, materials, and biology, who are working to understand cell membrane functions and cellular processes.

Laura Goodman

Dr. Goodman is actively involved in molecular epidemiology and sequencing of infectious diseases.  She is a member of the Baker Institute for Animal Health.

Section of Anatomic Pathology

The pathology faculty are dedicated to providing high quality diagnostic, teaching and research services to colleagues within and beyond Cornell. Members of the Section collaborate with many disciplines to advance the study and diagnosis of animal diseases.

Animal Health Diagnostic Center

The mission of the Animal Health Diagnostic Center (AHDC) is to improve the health of food and fiber producing animals, companion animals, sport and recreational animals, exotic animals, and wildlife. These activities protect and improve public health, promote environmental stewardship, and foster economic growth.

Department of Clinical Sciences

The Department of Clinical Sciences in Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine is largely composed of residency trained veterinarians who are board certified in a clinical specialty. The department endeavors to balance its threefold missions of teaching, service and research.
