Whether it’s Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint, slide presentations are a frequently used medium for sharing information with students during lectures. Slide presentations created in a Google Slide or Microsoft PowerPoint format, while more accessible than PDFs, still have a need for accessibility improvements. Creating accessible slides is very important to facilitate student learning. This section introduces some processes to help you get started.
This section looks at:
- Strategies for creating accessible presentations.
- How to make a few common changes in both Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Why we make these changes, and who it specifically impacts.
