The mission of the Conservation Education and Research Program is to engage private landowners, land managers, and others in actively conserving, managing, and enhancing our natural biological communities. Our goal is to teach sound, research-based conservation, management, and restoration techniques to others so that they can make prudent decisions on their own lands or lands in their communities.
Housed in Cornell’s Department of Natural Resources & the Environment, the Conservation Education and Research Program includes both a strong research base, as well as focused, results-based Extension and outreach.
