It was quiet around the office this week! Many people were out on vacation, and I mostly worked on compiling data for the tick distribution map. Emily and I also picked up the tick kits from all the CCE offices last week, so I sorted and put away the materials this week. The Tick Blitz supplies will be stored in the drawers pictured until next year!
When I wasn’t working on Tick Blitz data, I helped Jake sort shipments of mosquito larvae into containers of 200. These larvae were sent in from Virginia, and will be used for studying insecticide resistance.
